Nationwide Science Olympiad (NSO) is a yearly aggressive examination performed for school students. Can I seem for NSO?
Age: Students of courses 1 to 12th are eligible to appear for the 1st stage Olympiads. Students who qualify for the 2nd degree examination include.
(a) Top 5% of students’ class clever, who seem for the 1st level exam,

(b) State clever top 25 rank holders class sensible, and

(c) Class toppers from each taking part school where at the very least 10 students from a category seem within the exam & scores 50% qualifying marks. Students from classes 1 and 2 will not be required to appear for the 2nd level exam and are ranked based on their performance in the first degree exam.

Year of Attempt: Only students enrolled in courses 1 to twelfth are eligible. There is no 12 months restriction so long as the student is enrolled in a school programme.

How do I register for NSO 2017?
The NSO is open to the students of courses 1 to 12.
Prospectus containing the Registration kinds are despatched to all schools registered with Science Olympiad Foundation.
The school’s coordinating trainer will generate the students’ Roll Numbers as per the informationlines given.
A duplicate of those roll numbers together with the Students’ Registration Sheet (SRS) and School Registration Kind (SRF) must be despatched to the Basis’s office before the due date of submission of forms.
Foundation will register the applicant school and the students and dispatch question papers and informationlines for conducting the examination.
Principals / teachers may please be aware that any school can be registered as a center for NSO.
No charge is required from the institution to turn out to be a registered examination centre.
A minimum of 10 students need to be registered from each school for feasibility reasons.
A nominal participation charge is charged from every student.
Part of it is retained by the school for its bills as examination center.
